Potato Wheel

Last season's Sugar Kill Gang sweep can be attributed to one thing: The RMRG Potato Wheel. And ancient TriXxster family secret, this isn't your ordinary potato salad.

With the announcement of the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls' 2006 season and the addition of inter-league bouting (the RMRG will take on Sin City's Rollergirls, the ladies of Arizona Roller derby and Duke City Rollergirls from New Mexico), the Sugar Kill Gang let the cat out of the bag and passed its infamous secret "sixth man" on to the league's new travel team: 5280 Fight Club.

Things haven't been the same since. Fueled by thhe RMRG Potato Wheel's circular goodness, the 5280 Fight Club has traveled to Vegas and Tucson and is finally back on their home turf. While the league will play host to so many out-of-state leagues, the rollergirls have vowed to keep the Potato Wheel a hometown-team only advantage.

Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, the Potato Wheel came to Denver in July 2005 for the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls' first expo bout. Found lurking on the TrixXster's doorstep, the Potato wheel was adopted and quickly welcomed into the family fold.

Eager to give something back, the Potato Wheel vowed to provide sustenance to any rollergirl who stepped foot in the TrixXster home pre-bout. Whether there to clean bearings, remove gum from their wheels, or arrange merchandise, the Potato Wheels walks hand in hand with The Rollergirls.

The Potato Wheel says, "Without me, your league is nothing."
