BATass learned at a young age that life is vicious. Her parents (in an attempt to toughen her up) forced her to do shots of Jack Daniels when she was 4 years old. In retrospect this probably led to her subsequent alcohol abuse problems. As she grew her brother tortured her mercilessly, little did he know he was doing her a favor, preparing her up for a lifetime of bruises and pain.

BATass was born in Denver , Colorado . It was here in Denver that BATass first discovered her love of nocturnal flying mammals. It was also here that BATass learned that to survive you’ve got to have friends. She joined a rowdy gang of hooligans and learned the ways of vandalism and social justice.

Eventually she escaped her tortured youth and she arrived at the higher learning institute that is known as Colorado College . Here she was able to hone her mind into a formidable weapon by immersing herself into studies such as interpretive Indonesian folk dance, and the mating habits of chiroptera. It was here she learned she had a penchant for tattoos, body
piercings and kicking (hippy) ass.

Currently BATass has forgone her scholarly pursuits to forge a carrer as the queen of the roller derby. She recently enjoyed her first sweet taste of victory as a blocker for the Sugar Kill Gang, fitting that she would again be a part of a nefarious Denver gang. You would be a fool to doubt her as a life of drinking, drug use and crushing the competition has indeed made her a 100% BATass.

BATass’ likes include: punk rock, sunglasses with colored lenses, PBR, Francesca Lia Block and Charles Bukowski, roller-skating, 24hour eateries (jerusalem’s & viva burrito), ANTM, dancing, anything bat shaped, and pink tacos.

Batass’ dislikes include: people who are fake, traffic jams, sobriety, and losing.
