18-3-202. First Degree Assault.

A person commits first degree assault if the person a) intends to cause serious bodily injury to another person and causes such injury with a deadly weapon; b) intends to cause a disfiguring or disabling injury to another person and causes such an injury; c) causes serious bodily injury to another person under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life.

Could roller skates be considered a deadly weapon?
